MagicMaster Bass -
Yes, we know not a very original name but these pickups are based on the famous MM pickups. Handwound and cast in epoxy, these passive pickups can be tailored to suit your needs. Sixty-Fours Bass - Jazz Bass
Simple effective - old is best, dc for Bridge 9 k ohms with the neck coming in around 8.5 k ohms these pickups are a great replacements for vintage pickups or for those who want that vintage sound without 'vintage costs'. Eighty-Fours Bass - Jazz Bass
Darker, bassier and generally dirtier than the Sixty-Fours, these pickups are overwound to lower the overall tone. Loud and proud these pickups will drive any group. The bridge has a dc of 10k ohms and the neck 9.5 k ohms. Complete with black covers and black and white hook-up wires. Area 51 - Stealth Bass - P Bass
A new type of P Bass pickup for players who want a little extra presence but who want to keep it simple. We've taken a conventional pickup and transformed it into a whole new beast, with the same size and format it will retro-fit into 99% of instruments. Using our principle of keeping it simple, The Stealth is a passive pickup that verges on giving the same volume as an active. We use radical, slightly oversize, new black magnets, special windings and our own bobbins and aged covers to produce a stunningly special pickup. The Stealth has a full range of tones, bassy and deep right through to crisp and bright, this makes them suitable for most styles of music, all provided with a little more, imagine a standard pickup on steroids!! Combo Bass - Jazz Bass
Having listened to requests from our customers asking for a Jazz Bass set but with humbucker tones we have designed this set to fit the bill. What we've done is grafted two jazz bass bridge pickups together and then added a normal Jazz bass pickup (single coil) for the neck. All three coils are wound slightly differently and presented with cloth covered traditional wire. This means that if you used a 5-way selector you could have Bridge single coil, Bridge Humbucker, Middle single coil, Mid/Neck Humbucker, Neck single coil. Versatile or what!? No ? P/J Combo Bass - P Bass
Based on a combination of our '64 Jazz Bass bridge pickup and a Trad P Bass pickup this set provides the flexibility for bass players. A great traditional rounded P Bass tone AND the singing bridge single coil Jazz Bass each on their own sound great but combined with either a selector switch or blend pot the result is outstanding. As usual our handwound coils and classic looks mean these pickups are very special and we are enormously pleased with this set.
